Eye Cream is a life saver for tired eyes

As a mom, I feel like I'm always tired and always playing a game of catch up when it comes to sleep. Between work, household demands, down time with friends and spouse, plus parenting, I'm never able to catch up on sleep. My biggest visible sign of my lack of sleep is my dark circles under my eyes.

My dark circles are hereditary so I have been using concealer for quite awhile now. The circles only got darker after I had my son. Lately, I have started to notice fine lines starting to form under my eyes, so I've been on a search for an under-eye cream that won't break the bank but is still effective. I was super happy to find New York Biology Anti Aging Eye Cream on Amazon.

I was a little hesitant when I first got this product because I had tried many other products and not had much success. After nearly 14 days of using this product at night and in the morning, I can definitely see results. The fine lines appear to be less, my dark circles are faded, and under-eye concealer goes on so much smoother now. I am so happy with the results that I will definitely use this again -- and I absolutely love the convenience of being able to use my Amazon Prime account to get this product. When I run out, I can order it and have it at my house in as little as two days! You can't beat that!

Homemade popsicles can be a fun activity with children

I have been eyeing popsicle molds for awhile now. I thought it would be fun to make different kinds of popsicles with my son. Plus, I would be able to control everything that goes into all the popsicles that we make.

I found these awesome popsicles molds on Amazon and decided to pick them up. When the package arrived, I was super excited and couldn't wait to show them to my son. Immediately we went on Pinterest and started looking up delicious popsicle recipes. It didn't take long for my son and me to put the new mold to use.

I merged together a few recipes to come up with the one I used below. It was fantastic. The molds worked great and were so easy to use. I loved that my son was also able to fill the popsicles easily without any mess. I was expecting there was going to be a lot of cleanup after making popsicles but there was virtually none, apart from putting the ingredients away and putting the blender in the dishwasher. The Lebice Popsicle set comes with a funnel that makes it so easy to fill the popsicles.

1/2 cup frozen, slightly thawed blueberries
1/2 cup frozen, slightly thawed
approximately 1 cup vanilla greek yogurt
approximately 1 tablespoon honey

Step 1
blend blueberries with 1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt and 1/2 tablespoon or so of honey. separate evenly (through funnel) among the 6 popsicle molds.

Step 2
use funnel to add a layer of vanilla greek yogurt to the center layer.

Step 3
blend strawberries with 1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt and 1/2 tablespoon or so of honey. separate evenly (through funnel) among the 6 popsicle molds.

Step 4
freeze for 8-24 hours or until popsicles are frozen.

Step 5

Note: to easily get the popsicle out of the mold, run the popsicle under hot water for approximately 30 seconds. It should then just slide out of the mold.

Daily Wear: July 3, 2016

I love Fourth of July. I love the festivities around the holiday - family, outdoors, fireworks, sparklers, water time and more.

This year, after a busy weekend each weekend since school was let out, my husband and I decided to have a low-key weekend. We didn't try to jam-pack every hour with things to do and instead just decided to get things done around the house and spend quality time together.

This meant there was plenty of time on Saturday for my son and I to tie-dye shirts for Fourth of July. After following all the steps, my son and I both had festive red, white, and blue shirts to wear on July 3 when we had a small family gathering for the holiday.

I hadn't used tie dye since high school. It was so much fun to share this experience with my son and to be able to wear a personalized Fourth of July shirt this year.

Daily Wear: June 25 Wedding

I love going to weddings. It's so much fun seeing two people declare their love for one another and start their new life together. I also love any excuse to get dressed up, see everyone else all dressed up, and then being able to catch up with friends and dance.

I picked up this dress the day before the wedding. I wanted something bright and fun to wear to the summer wedding. This worked perfect - although the shoes didn't last long into the reception.

Daily Wear: June 23, 2016

I have been eyeing some of these state of Minnesota shirts for awhile now. There are so many Etsy shops that sell them as well as some brick-and-mortar shops. Unfortunately, I hadn't seen any of these shirts in person so I had been holding off on purchasing one. Today, my husband and I took a stroll around an art festival and came across Minnesota Apparel Company's booth and their wonderful Minnesota pride apparel.

I'm so in love with my new soft tee. I love that I can wear this with a pair of jeans or shorts and look cute while I'm out running errands or doing whatever I need to do that day. I get to not only look cute while I wear this shirt, I also get to show off my love for the state that I live in. This shirt is so comfy that it may have just become my new favorite tee.

Daily Wear: June 22, 2016

Another warm summer day in Minnesota. I needed a professional outfit that worked for both indoors and outdoors.

I've pulled variations of this look together in the past and have always loved how it has turned out. These grey Limited pants have become a work staple for me. They are comfortable and professional and pair with so many cute tops. I've also really fallen in love with this Express navy blue polka dot silk shirt. It has just the right amount of playfulness in the pattern while also looking very professional.

As for accessories, these wine-colored shoes add just the right pop of color for work and I love how it pairs with the dark blue shirt. I wanted to keep jewelry to a minimum today so I chose my multi-strand silver chain necklace and layered it with an additional single-strand Lia Sophia necklace.

I love this outfit so much. This is definitely one of my power outfits.
